It’s time to start planning for our 35th Anniversary rally!

Four years have now passed following my very shocking and enlightening incident in August of 2018 while enroute to attend the Safari International 30th Anniversary rally in Shawnee Oklahoma. As most of you might remember, Diana and I got as far as Rock Springs, Wyoming...and then the lightning bolt came down and struck our rig while we were parked, idling in our Site (#13) at the KOA waiting to get out and hook up to utilities once the rain squall had passed. We missed the 30th Anniversary Rally! NEXT YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT! Your Executive Board has begun the process of selecting a venue and scheduling a date for the Safari International 35th Anniversary celebration to be held in 2023. You can anticipate more information in the Fall issue of the Trails later this year as plans progress.

While at the mid-July Safari So Good fun club rally in Salem, I had an opportunity to have an informal discussion with about a dozen Safari International members there. This provided a much clearer insight about travel concerns and desires for next year. Our goal is to provide the best opportunity for you, our members, to have access to this 35th celebration event.

Safari International Members

Welcome back!  Your website is the focal point for resources, information and communication.  The Photos area from the Main Menu is where we have captured special moments; important notices are found under the News area of the Main Menu;  and last, but not least, when you Login to the Members area you will find the latest issue of the Safari Trails as well as several new features there. 

For those who haven't been in the Members area for a while, it might surprise you to find out that we have had an Online Renewal Form complete with PayPal payment interface for a while now (in addition to the fill-in-the-blanks PDF Renewal Form that you can complete online, then print out to mail in with your check if you so choose).....and within the Forums there are several recent new posts as well as an area dedicated to Classified ads.  Check it out!
