Welcome to Safari-International

We are a chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA), an international motor home organization located throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico for owners of motor homes manufactured by a division of Monaco Coach Corporation.

We hold various rallies throughout the year giving members an opportunity to meet with each other and learn about their coaches, the lifestyle and previewing new products from vendors.

What's New!
Monaco RV, LLC, has announced the opening of an Indiana Service Center. The Monaco Service Center, located across the street from its Wakarusa manufacturing facility, opened for business on October 3, 2011 at 76 Ward Street in Wakarusa. The Monaco Service Center will service all Monaco brand products.
To coincide with its grand opening and welcome back customers, The Monaco Service Center will offer a special introductory labor rate of $90.00. This rate will be good until April 1, 2012 The Monaco Service Center hours will be Monday through Friday; from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 877-466-6226 (877-4MONACO).
No word as of yet what their hourly rate will be after April.

August 2nd: Navistar announced they were moving production of all Monaco RV LLC motorcoaches to Wakarusa, IN.  400 jobs will be lost in Coburg and 400 jobs gained in Wakarusa.  Towable production will remain in Coburg.  Many reasons given for the move, but seem to center on two...closer to component manufacturers, and Indiana is giving Navistar a $2.8 million tax break.
We still haven't heard anything about Safari and Beaver production.

Navistar replaces Kay Toolson at Monaco RV.

Navistar has announced that Kay Toolson, previous CEO and President of Monaco prior to and after the bankruptcy, stepped down on June 30th, but will continue in an advisory role.  His replacement is William H. Osborne and his title, Vice President of Custom Products for Navistar.  He will be responsible for Monaco RV as well as Workhorse business units.  His previous experience in the automotive industry includes positions at Ford, General Motors and Chrysler.  Mr Osborne has not commented as of yet about the status of the Safari and Beaver brands.  Your Executive Board will keep you posted as new information comes available.

The Executive Board of Safari International and Beelart Embroidery of Corvalis, OR are now able to offer our members a
